The principle activity of the charity is the provision of holidays in Southport for Salford people who have need of such by reason of their age, poverty or disability. The hotel is fully accessible. We want to fund 60 week long holidays for those most in need.
Why the community needs us
We provide fully accessible, en suite hotel accommodation at affordable rates to enable people to enjoy a worry free break away from home. We help to reduce the isolation experienced by some older people in particular and provide a valuable respite option for families.
Our impact on the community
We have over a 98% satisfaction rate with the people who use our services. We know that there are people who would not be able to take a break from home without our provision. Many of our guests return because they feel that they are made welcome at the hotel. Some want to try and make new friends. Our guests also tell us that they feel a benefit to their physical and emotional health.
