We need a whole new kitchen, we are using temporary premises at the moment thankfully from The Honiton Rugby Club to help us out until coronavirus is over. We have a few other places to look at to go forward but the rents are high. We are applying for Charity status very shortly. There is more to this venture than providing meals. It helps people feel included, we have ideas to bring children into learning about how not to waste food and how to dispose of it. So many many other factors
Our aim is to keep on cooking, for all those that genuinely need a meal. Who need our help to provide for them in these horrendous times. Are you still waiting for benefits, are you homeless, are children in need getting a meal, the vulnerable, the elderly, Isolated, the list goes on.
We can also help connect you to the right people.
We want this line of service to carry on as a full time service even after the coronavirus has gone(if it should) and need plenty of support from everyone.
At the moment we send out Home cooked from scratch meals that are frozen and delivered to residents 3 days worth on a Monday and 4 days worth on a Thursday
Options of Soup, Main Meal, Pudding x the amount of days required.
Todate the response has been overwhelming and Cathryn goes all out to help those where she can.
