We're fundraising to take 'The Pornstar Martini Effect: A Bartender’s Guide to Not Killing Yourself at Christmas' to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2025!
On Christmas Eve, bartenders Kat and Tom are alone, together. It's a night of predictable Christmas tunes, awful guest interactions and countless Pornstar Martinis. But when a male guest harasses Kat and tensions escalate, the pair grapple with their roles on the bar and reflect upon how gender dynamics in hospitality have forged their views on gender and relationships and question what they owe to each other. When the bar closes, how do these two bartenders who may have never met in real life, come to terms with what they mean to each other?
'The Pornstar Martini Effect: A Bartender’s Guide to Not Killing Yourself at Christmas' questions how our perception of gender affects both our mental health and relationships with others and how we hold onto ourselves when we're forced to confront something other than what we are.
Your donations will go towards paying for venue costs, travel, accommodation and getting the show on its feet.
Any contributions would be incredibly appreciated and if you're unable to financially contribute, sharing the show with friends and family is equally as appreciated!
