Aim: I am raising money for a Scottish Mountain Rescue, a charity I see day in, day out, keeping people safe in Scotland's countryside.

MAYAR24 - 24 hours - 1 Mountain - Non-stop Ascents

August 16th

My second of two personal challenges this year.

The most southerly mountain of the Mounth plateau in Angus, Mayar rises to a height of 3,045 feet.

Sitting at the head of Glen Clova, it possess prominent vantage points from where a panorama of rolling upland scenery unfolds, with views beyond the Sidlaws to the Lomond Hills in Fife and, to the north, Lochnagar.

My challenge is multiple ascents from the entrance to Corrie Fee to the summit of Mayar & back, non-stop for 24 hours (12km for each ascent)

Every single donation will be greatly appreciated by both myself & Scottish Mountain Rescue.

You can keep up to date on my training & progress by following  on Facebook,

And also look out for how you can join me on the day.
