We’re The Eleven and we've created a blueprint for how women and children’s refuges could operate in the future.
It’s time for a new generation of support for families escaping Domestic Abuse.
We believe where you begin should not dictate where you end up, so based on personal experience we’ve really considered how best to challenge the status quo and really achieve impactful social and economic improvement for women, children and communities affected.
Our aim is to dismantle generational cycles of victimhood, perpetration and welfare dependancy by putting social and economic mobility opportunities at the heart of the work we do.
With rates of unsuccessful refuge referral at 64%, paired with declining services and violence against women and girls now deemed a ‘national emergency’ by the Police Chiefs Council, time is absolutely of the essence when it comes to reconsidering how we tackle this life altering issue in the future.

From experience, we know a temporary, multi agency approach to supporting women and children escaping simply isn’t economic, efficient or effective, so we've reconsidered and remodelled..
Our Mission: Create and deliver social and economic mobility opportunities that encourage and empower families to positively alter the trajectory of their lives.
Our Method: The 3E's for 365 We’ve identified the key barriers to improving escaping families lives and have come up with a direct action plan that will guarantee improvement by focusing on the 3Es

How we’ll do it
360 for 365
The Eleven is the all round embrace women and children escaping desperately need in order to improve their lives long term.
We want to create future leaders of change and give escaping women back power and autonomy over their and their children lives by providing stability, security and above enough space, time and clarity to focus on the future.
We’ll guarantee escaping families a private, safe and secure residency for 365 days with a 360 full service approach, we’re an under one roof, life changing support facility that’s innovating at every step.
Our unique 3E Network are a group of trusted partners who want to work with The Eleven to provide transformative development options for residents that encompass education, employment and emotion.

The Eleven will be unique in how it choses to tackle this never ending, societal issue. Our team will work with families to define a tangible pathway towards recovery and independence so they are ready and equipped for life when they leave The Eleven. We want to move past awareness campaigns and work on a direct action - direct results model.
How you can help...
After 3 years of planning, we're now in phase 1 of our fundraising journey.
Phase one objectives
1- Build budgets to deliver our 3E Outreach Program
We know we need a home in order to fulfil our 360 for 365 Refuge support vision, but in the meantime we're confident we can deliver our 3E network independently, so until we have a roof we'll be directing all donations to strengthening our network and delivering it within communities to women most in need.
2- Secure a home for The Eleven
Do you have an unused space that could be re-purposed for a innovative social impact project that has clear objectives and a solid method?
Or do you perhaps have the means to support a lease for our first location?
We’re seeking a home that can support 10 self contained 2 bed residencies, office and therapy space.
We’re really up for a renovation project so no job will be viewed as too big, because at The Eleven, we dream big.
3- Build Team Budgets
We won't be able to provide the life changing services we plan to without an incredible team. It’s our priority and mission to be a leading employer in the charity sector. Not only do we plan to encourage and empower our residents, we’ll do the same for our employees.

4- Secure Family Sponsorship
A family’s 365 day residency at The Eleven will be based on an annual sponsorship model.
