Waaaaaa I woke up to 100%

This morning, I woke up and we'd reached 100% of our target. I'm so chuffed, happy, excited and knackered. Crowdfunding is exhausting. But, when you really want to make something happen and believe it, you do all you can to make it happen, don't you?!

I'm now into my stretch target, which will enable me to design a good, strong pilot programme to take to schools to inspire young people to look after their river.

The extra funding will enable me to:

Procure citizen science testing kits;

Connect schools to their local @theriverstrust;

Arrange logistics for kids to venture to their local river;

Teach them how to spot for insects, fish and otters, how they're all effected by pollution and invite scientists and wildlife experts to deliver talks to inspire them further;

Educate them how to understand their local environment and how and why pollution may arise within it;

Test for water quality YAY! And;

Show them how to use @earthwatcheurope's Freshwater app so they can upload their data, which will be seen by the entire world.

If I reach 400 supporters, councils and brands will be more inclined to help support the programme to make it sustainable. So please do share my campaign with anyone you're close to and tell them to donate just £1. £1 is as invaluable as any amount as it helps pump up the support.
