Aim: To set up a micro brewery, our beer cant be brought in the normal way, it can only be won with fortnightly prize draws and at festivals woo

Well as to most of the population of the UK, after the pandemic it changed peoples mind about the direction there lives where taking, myself included, after the pandemic i was totally wiped out, mentality, physical and business wise, after a very tough couple of years with loved ones loses along the way, I wanted to turn all the negatives to a positive and an idea has been running around in my head for a few years

A prize draw micro brewery

In the first instance all the beers will be contract brewed as the cost of setting up a micro brewery in the first instance would be over £50,000 and i don't want to try to raise that amount of monies in these challenging times.

I am going to try to raise with all your help £25,000 to bring this to fruition

Three beers will be brewed in the first instance, a lager, hazy IPA and a sessions IPA which will go into a mixed case of 24cans or bottles. the recipes will be my own made in conjunction with the contract brewer.

3 prize draws will be will be available fortnightly with the first winning a case i.e 24cans/bottles

2nd winning 18 cans/bottles 

3rd winning 12 cans/bottles 

plus there will be a free postal entry to get around the gambling act, proof of age will be required for the winning tickets , i will be using a google random number generator to find the winners.

Starting at only £2.00 a ticket with a percentage going to a good causes each fortnight

With the monies raised it will be used for the contract brewing recipes, production, storage facilitates, and all licenses and duty to be paid, packaging and canning or bottling

And in the long run, i would like to own my own micro brewery linked to a tap room or public house producing my own range of beers and lagers and maybe even a cheeky cider.

With the resurgence of micro brewery's in this country which to my mind is a good thing people have more choice and can pick and choose which beers they would like to try, I'm doing the same but just trying to have a different angle to it. So I'm asking please help a 57 year old fulfill a long time dream and maybe if i can raise the monies i need i can give something back also and start the chain going.

If you would like to help but don't want to enter the prize draw that would still be a great help so maybe i can do a Lost Art Brewing.Co car window sticker or a t shirt as a thank you but you will have to give me time to sort it out.

Also will be setting up a mobile festival pitch so people can see who we are and what we are brewing where they can try before they buy there prize draw tickets.

The idea will be set up at a festival where beer costs an absolute fortune and for every one ticket sold a free can of beer is given at the end of each day the 3 winners will be notified by text that they have won and they come and claim there prize a winner for all i hope. 

And not being located in one area I hope i can reach all of the UK and in the long term set up a beer mail order so more people can enjoy my beers.
