The Ink & Coal Collective – Rhondda TCG Club

Aim: A weekly TCG club in Porth bringing people together to play Lorcana, Pokémon & Magic, supporting community, fun & local heritage.

We’re a group of passionate card game players from the Rhondda Valleys who believe in the power of games to bring people together. Our vision is to create The Ink & Coal Collective—a weekly trading card game (TCG) club based in Ynys Y Cwtsh, Porth—where players of Disney Lorcana, Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering and more can connect, learn, and enjoy their favourite games in a welcoming, inclusive space.

Inspired by our local heritage of coal mining and the magical themes of Lorcana, we’re building something that honours both past and present. This is more than just a club—it's about community, creativity, and connection in an area that deserves vibrant, social spaces.

We’re asking for your support to help cover venue hire, promotional materials, and starter kits so we can kick things off and grow. Every donation—no matter the size—helps us build a space where people of all ages can gather, play, and be part of something magical in the heart of the Valleys.
