Aim: The Hive Thanet aims to raise funds to ensure that our state of the art community centre is able to support the whole SEND community.

The Hive Thanet is a brand new, first of its kind, state of the art and fully accessible centre for the entire SEND community. Built on 5 acres of land, we offer extensive opportunities to those with additional needs and disabilities of all ages to improve physical and mental health, inclusion, employability, life skills, training, communication and overall well-being.

Our facilities include:

  • 5 acres of land.
  • An FA standard full-size football pitch.
  • Fully disability accessible changing rooms and FA standard dressing rooms.
  • Playing fields.
  • Accessible bike track.
  • Forest and horticulture land for gardening, woodcraft, camping skills and outdoor learning, growing various fruits and vegetables.
  • Community kitchen.
  • Education, training and workshops in our training centre.
  • Sensory garden.
