In July 2024, I will be pedalling across the UK with my recording gear in a trailer equipped with a solar panel, capturing the journey along the way. I'll stop to record and film a live session in a remote location in each country (England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales), showcasing the diversity of local music scenes while highlighting sustainability.
The goal? To emphasise the beauty of the UK's countryside, why we need to protect it and how it can inspire music and creativity.
Through storytelling and the cycle tour, I'll capture live sessions in 4 diverse UK locations. I will be self sustainable, powering the equipment with a solar panel connected to my bike trailer.
In February 2023, I released "Gravel and Grassroots", a self-produced documentary-style film documenting a trial trip in September 2021. Now, I am developing this concept, cycling further and upping the production quality both sonically and visually. I hope this project can inspire and motivate individuals from gender minorities to pursue careers in music, sound engineering and production.
I am invested in the DIY music scenes in the UK as they have so much to offer and the project will allow me to platform and support artists. The focus will be on combining sustainability, music, cycling to craft an impactful story.
