The Grey Dippers Foodbank Challenge

• We are the Grey Dippers.

“The Grey Dippers" started as a group of friends, meeting up a few times a week to do some cold water therapy in Ardrossan. 

Fast forward and we are now in our 3rd year of our cold water fundraising campaign in aid of the Local foodbank.

The Hub, a Food Bank charity based in Ardrossan, believe that no one should be faced with going hungry, and we fully support this belief.

The Hub provides nutritionally balanced food to those in crisis. The aim is to provide facilities for those who need it. Lunch and evening meals will be on offer, a creche area is available as well as family relaxation with xbox and video games. 

So how can you support us?

As crazy as it sounds we are planning to complete as many cold water dips as we can from 1st Nov until Boxing day.

On Boxing Day we will complete the journey with a Family and Friends dip. Everyone is invited so come along and get involved.

It will be extremely difficult, and as always, it will be easy to fail. It will be extremely cold, and there will be times we want to quit but we will see the challenge through again for this cause that is close to our hearts.

We cant do this without the help of all the supporters. We have been in awe of the generosity over the last 2 years and if we can get more of that this year we will be forever grateful. 🙏🏻
