 New stretch target

We will give fish & chip vouchers to local Food Banks.

The Pals Programme in Stockton finds ways to help others in creative and meaningful ways. During this current COVID lock down we still wanted to mark VE Day and want to raise money to deliver free Fish & Chips to veterans and older residents in the Stockton area. Winston Churchill deemed that this quintessential British meal helped boost morale and the fighting spirit calling the dish ‘Good Companions’. 75 years on we want to be ‘Good Companions‘ to some of the isolated older people battling against this awful virus. We have contacted some local fish & chip shops and have volunteer drivers ready and depending on how much we raise we will deliver delicious fish & chips to put a smile on the faces of our community on Friday 8th May - VE anniversary.

We need to place our orders and arrange delivery slots by Wednesday evening so this is a very short timeline!

NATURALLY all food prep and delivery will follow social distancing guidelines.

The price of a meal will be around £5 but anything you can spare will go into the pot. Unspent funds will be given as vouchers to local foodbanks.
