CD: Various Artists Emily Scott of the band Modern Studies had the idea for the fundraising album 'The Music of Others' after speaking with band mate and Glad Cafe Managing Director, Joe Smillie, and organised a host of Glasgow's indie royalty to record each others songs. The result is a fantastic and diverse mixture of experimental noise, cleanly recorded pop, phone recordings, piano led ballads and rollicking, gibbering madness.

'High Finance (Paul)': A3 digital print and screenprint Ruth’s print shows an image of the board from the 1968 game ‘High Finance’ contrasted with a layer of screen printed text quoting the revised lyrics of the song ‘Ol’ Man River’. 'No Math Methis': Collage, material offcuts on A3 digital print. Laura’s print is a relation to her ongoing series of soft textural works. She says ‘I rarely, if ever, work on paper, so with making a print in mind I wanted to make it feel as live as possible - to add the potential of movement through stitched fabric and loose threads. 'Some Making (Riser)': A3 digital print. ‘Some Making (Riser)’ originates from Kate's series of block prints that represent aerial views of work surfaces in studios, living spaces or anywhere that making has occurred. For this edition the surface described is a stage riser containing Tommy’s synthesizer rig as used during Django Django’s 2019 gig at Playground festival, Rouken Glen. 'Ingrid': A3 digital print The image is from a series of photographs made of flowers brought to my home by friends - they take the title of the bringer of the gift as a means of suggesting an oblique portrait of the individual.
