THE FRIENDS OF PRINCE OF WALES PARK

The Friends of Prince of Wales Park are a charity dedicated to maintaining and promoting the Prince of Wales Park. We are completely unfunded and need Public Liability insurance, first aid training, tools, fuel and materials. Periodically we hold events to raise funds to help us to continue our work. But we also want the community to have a much needed family friendly afternoon of fun and games. We will provide "old school" games for the kids like carnival mask making, hoopla, pin the tail on the cat, coconut shy, Punch & Judy and children's story telling. There will also be appearances of a ferocious Tyrannosaurus Rex! Much of this will be free to the kids. In addition there will be music, a bar, a barbeque, plant stall, scones, jam and cream, face painting, ice cream and balloon sculpture. The Friends would be delighted to see lots of families having a proper good Sunday afternoon in the park!
