We're still collecting donations
On the 3rd February 2022 we'd raised £20 with 1 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

On the 3rd February 2022 we'd raised £20 with 1 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We have all had those times in life when you don't know how to go forward, you are stuck in a rut, the bad thoughts get worse and there seems to be no end to your troubles. Sometimes you just need to get away to somewhere that seems far away from your troubles and far away from that environment. To be able to talk to someone who is impartial and maybe make something in our craft center. When you are ready you can enjoy a walk round our stables and learn about your inner self with our horses. Many of these animals have had troubled lives, 3 are ex racehorses and have stories to tell that can compare with your own bad days. A horse can sense your heartbeat from 6 feet away and they understand facial expressions and pick up on your stress and anxiety levels. They will know when you need them and when you don't, and they will help you relax and learn to move forward.
We don't give you answers to your problems, but we do give support and can supply professional counselling. We give you the space and time to work out yourself what you feel you need. sometimes all you need is to talk them through with a stranger.
WE want to build a center where you can stand with the horses under cover and out of the wind and rain. Comfort and not being cold and wet, lowers your stress levels. You don't have to be near the horses until you are ready but just sharing the space gives you the chance to take things at your own pace.
A workshop and coffee room are there for just sitting and chatting or maybe making something just so your hands are busy. Sometimes you need to be busy to be able to talk easily. Other times just sitting with a cuppa is enough. Either way we want to provide both. All this needs to be disabled friendly so ease of access is important, as is facilities for the disabled.
On the sunny days, gardens and ponds will be available, gardening and spending time in our poly tunnel just for pottering around. There will be aviaries and fish to spend time with, as well as the general farm animals of goats and chickens all of which enjoy your company. For visitors who need extra help with their problems we can arrange appointments with one of our professional therapists from the Willow tree clinic www.willow-tree.website/ to add some extra help and support. We also have our professional Holistic Cancer specialist Adam Prygoda. Who will offer help and consultation to any visitors struggling with this terrible disease. All staff are trained in depression, suicide awareness and counselling skills. McMillan cancer as well as Riding for the disabled are waiting now for our Center to open it's doors for them to send us visitors they feel will benefit from all we have to offer.
Instead of the age old system of assessment then appointment arranging and dedicated time slots now available on the NHS, we will have it all in one center. A relaxed environment without time pressure and with staff and friends who you can just relax and share your problems with. Sometimes sitting in a specialists office answering questions is so cold and clinical. So we will offer a craft workshop initially for visitors to engage in crafts that are designed to relax and bring calm to the people visiting us. It is often the way that birds of a feather flock together, and friendships will bloom and barriers lowered. People are far more prone to sharing problems with others with the same conditions as themselves. Nowhere else has this project been thought of, nowhere else can you receive this kind of mental calming as we have here at Project Dignity. We have many professionals who love what they are hearing about Project Dignity at the dignity Center, but we need funding, and we need it desperately. Please help us realise this ground breaking project and give all disabled people some Dignity in their life.
