The Cup of Joy Football Championship

The Cup of Joy Football Championship is a local government-wide football competition based in Obowo LGA, Imo State, Nigeria. It is designed as a football league through which young people can compete in sports, learn new skills and knowledge  make friends, develop career in sports and active recreation, especially in football. The aim is to give the youths the opportunity to pursue their personal and professional development through engagement in sports and through that process improve their livelihoods, make positive contribution to their communities, strive, grow and become better citizens. The league will create a safe environment and bring about a nurturing atmosphere that will ensure that young people will succeed. The project will build cohesive communities, partnership working and collaborative decision making.
