We're still collecting donations

Please can you help us raise £12,000 to design & develop our yurt and sensory garden so our back yard becomes a space for all to enjoy.

We are a group of local Christians belonging to the Skylark International Network, who work with friends, organisations & businesses to facilitate a flexible and creative space for everyone to benefit from and enjoy. Directors are appointed to ensure the Community Interest Company (CIC) is true to its Articles of Association, i.e. to promote the Christian Statements of Belief, Permaculture Principles, The Next Generations Wellbeing Act, development of community spaces and inclusive to all. WHAT WE HOPE TO ACHIEVE The £12,000 will be used to match fund grants we have already received to buy a yurt. It will pay for the base of the yurt and its accessories, 9x3m gazebos and outdoor plants, a water feature, sensory accessories for the garden and seating. The community edible sensory garden will continue to compliment all the activities that take place inside The Cross Keys building and the yurt - once it is established- hospitality, music, dancing, sharing, making friends, prayer and worship and be a space that facilitates support, growth and celebration for people of all ages and stages in life. Food grown in the garden will be used in the home made meals provided for the Coffee and Ice Cream House and excess can be shared by members of the public through the Community Fridge Scheme WHAT DO WE CURRENTLY DO? 1.Ty Bendithion: A House of Blessing open to all who need help, practically and prayerfully 2 Ty Coffi A Hufen la: A House of Welcome open to all wanting to enjoy time in a warm, safe, indoor and outdoor space with good food, drink, friendship - child and dog friendly 3.Ty Pawb: A House of Creativity open to all who want to use the venue to celebrate all secular aspects of life and build a community of love and help change the world step by step - Jazz nights.
