Our vision is for everyone in our community to release their potential and live fulfilled lives. We achieve this through education, employment and wellbeing support in a safe and compassionate space:
- Employment Support: We help people to gain meaningful and sustainable employment through personalised advice and support, mentoring and work skills activities.
- Adult Learning: We support adults to improve their maths, English and ICT skills through a wide range of Functional Skills and intensive Literacy & Numeracy support.
- Children and Young People's Education: We help children and young people to learn, flourish and achieve their potential through academic support, mentoring, Literacy & Numeracy support and aspirational activities.
- Wellbeing and Advice Support: We empower people to overcome barriers and challenges and to engage with their own wellbeing. We provide Information, Advice and Guidance, and wellbeing activities.
Last year, we supported 1707 children and young people and 863 adults:
- 74 Literacy & Numeracy students made a year's progress in either Maths or English in just nine weeks.
- 80% of our Year 13 students progressed directly to university, employment, training or apprenticeships
- 144 clients took part in our 1:1 Employment Support programme, of which 85 gained a job or training opportunity
- We resolved 357 advice issues, supporting 308 local people through our Information, Advice and Guidance service
- 325 Adults attended a range of health and wellbeing workshops and events
- 78.4% of learners on our accredited English courses achieved their accreditation
