New stretch target
This is a large project and all funds will be utilised
We are a not for profit self-financing charity responsible for the provision of Sandford Parks Lido in the heart of Cheltenham.
As part of our efforts to reduce our carbon footprint and our reliance on increased energy costs we are raising funds to complete an ambitious sustainability project in our car park.
The project will:
Generate 93% of our current electricity usage
Install a new substation which will future proof future sustainability developments such as air source heat pumps
Install EV Charging points
Create a safe pedestrian walkway through the car park to our gates
Provide a safe queuing area for guests waiting to enter the lido.
Many swimming facilities are facing imminent closure due to hikes in utility, staffing and chemical costs we are adamant we will protect our lido securing it for the another 90 years.
