The Bossa Health App: Joined-Up Mental Health Care

Aim: Therapy, psychology, psychiatry and medication management in one platform — no more gaps, no more waiting, no more jumping between services.

What We’re Creating

We are building the Bossa Health App, a digital tool designed to bring together therapy, psychiatry, medication management, and care coordination into one seamless space. It is not just a booking app. It is a new way to access joined-up mental health care that works in real life.

Right now, people have to jump between services to get the care they need. Our existing system already connects professionals, therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and pharmacists, as one integrated team. But behind the scenes, this depends on multiple platforms stitched together by our team.

This Crowdfunder project will fund the creation of an app that brings all of that together. One streamlined, user-friendly space where people can:

• Be matched with the right clinician from the start
• Book and manage appointments in one place
• Receive internal referrals with no delays
• Communicate securely with their care team
• Track progress and stay engaged throughout their care

Why It Matters

We have already delivered this kind of care, and it works! What we now need is the technology to make it more accessible, more scalable, and easier to use.

This app will make it possible for anyone in the UK to receive well-coordinated mental healthcare without chasing referrals, retelling their story, or managing it all alone.

It is not a symptom tracker. It is not a chatbot. It is a platform built around people, not parts, where licensed clinicians work as a team, and where every step is connected.

How the Funds Will Be Used

Every pound pledged will go directly toward creating and launching the first version of the Bossa Health app. Specifically:

• Product design (UX/UI for both user and clinical dashboards)
• Software development (back-end and front-end engineering)
• Testing and refinement with real users and clinicians
• Clinical safety validation aligned with UK NHS Digital standards (DCB 0129/0160)
• Hosting and infrastructure for secure, GDPR-compliant deployment

This project is not about expanding our business or funding general operations — it is about delivering a real, working app that changes how mental healthcare is accessed.

Who We Are

Bossa Health is a UK-based digital mental health provider launched in 2024. Our team includes therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals with decades of experience. We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). All our clinicians are UK-accredited.

We have already delivered hundreds of hours of coordinated care through our current system. With this project, we are building the technology that will allow us to offer the same high standard of care to thousands more, in a way that is easier to access, use, and trust.

Timeline

We are ready to move. Once funded, our estimated timeline is:

• Month 1–2: Design and user interface
• Month 3–5: Core development
• Month 6: Internal testing with real patients and clinicians
• Month 7: Launch of beta version for Kickstarter backers
• Month 8–9: Iteration and improvements
• Month 10: Public launch
