TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF THOSE LIVING IN THE UNITED KINGDOM WHO HAVE RECEIVED A CANCER DIAGNOSIS INCLUDING THOSE WHO ARE SURVIVORS OF CANCER AND THEIR IMMEDIATE FAMILIES BY: (A) HELPING AND ENCOURAGING THEM TO REBUILD THEIR PHYSICAL FITNESS, STRENGTH, MENTAL WELLNESS AND CONFIDENCE; (B) PROVIDING FREE NEW OR USED BICYCLES AND CYCLING EQUIPMENT TO THE BENEFITING GROUP, AND THEIR DIRECT FAMILY MEMBER

THE BIKE NETWORK LIMITED

Our Mission:

We are here to support the cancer community by supplying cycle equipment to patients, survivors and their direct family members.

Cycling doesn’t only benefit the body, it allows time to digest and think over what is happening. Whether that is during diagnosis, treatment or after the all clear when you’re anxiously awaiting news from a follow up with a consultant or scan.

The Bike Network breaks down the barriers built by a cancer diagnosis and supports those affected in rebuilding themselves through cycling.

Testimonials:

"l was lucky enough to get a fantastic Giant road bike from the charity. At the time I was working only a short distance from home and cycling to work with my old bike. I felt like I was the luckiest person to get my bike and my work pals were in awe! It made my working days a lot more pleasurable and I really enjoyed using it. I even took it holiday to Margate and all my family got into the spirit of cycling. I've fitted a mudguard and lights and now I long to get back to a state of health to enjoy it again."

Many thanks to Adam, he runs a brilliant charity that brings loads of happiness to many. I get quite emotional over it all and I'll be forever in the gratitude of the gift".

"Having bikes from you guys was a lifeline for us during the lockdowns because we don't have a garden so it gave us a way of getting out into nature with our 3 year old daughter that meant we didn't have to drive or walk anywhere.

It helped me massively with my mental health. As a stage IV cancer patient, I lean heavily on exercise and just being outside as ways of coping with my disease. The Bike Network made that possible and meant that my family could get involved and get out with me too. We would never have been able to afford bikes like the ones we have been gifted so we are truly grateful".
