Welcome to The BIG Raise!
We're kicking off the summer with a team of incredible individuals ready to take on exciting challenges in support of our project, Just Imagine, which aims to tackle common beliefs underlying violence against women and girls.
Our fundraisers are a force to be reckoned with, using their amazing skills in cycling, running, drawing, and more to make a difference. Whether they're pedaling for 8 hours, hitting ground running, or unleashing their creativity on canvas, each challenge is a testament to their commitment for our cause.
Join us on this journey as we come together to raise funds, awareness, and support for our project: Just Imagine and the Yellow Box Theatre.

About Just imagine.
Just imagine is a project launched by the Yellow box theatre, which aims to challenge common beliefs underlying violence against women and girls in the UK, through theatre, advocacy and community action.
Just imagine encompasses several components:

Create – "Mi Gyals", a play written by a collective of female creatives, currently in development for its musical composition.
Change – a community initiative to bring performing arts workshop to local women.
Project Aims
- Build more resilient communities committed to tackle violence against women and girls.
- Educate against beliefs and myths underlying violence against women and girls.
- Empower communities to be agents of change and support to survivors of gender-based violence.
- Reflect the diversity of contemporary Britain using arts and culture as an educational tool.
- Support emerging female creatives' ambitions, talents and skills.

Our team of fundraisers and their summer challenges.
I'm excited to announce that I'll be running the Wimbledon Common Half Marathon on July 28th to raise money for The Yellow Box Theatre, a not-for-profit organization, and their project, "Just Imagine"! I’ve been training hard and aiming for a time of sub 1:55:00, shaving over half an hour off my time last year of 2:25:24. I'm doing this as part of the BIG raise campaign to support The Yellow Box Theatre's latest project, “Just Imagine”. All the money raised will help bring this great project to life and make a difference.
My goal is to raise £500, and with your support, I hope we can achieve it.
Please consider donating and cheering me on as I take on this challenge for a great cause! Thank you for your support!
I'm chuffed to bits that I'll be doing a drawing challenge in July 2024 to raise money for The Yellow Box Theatre, a not-for-profit organisation, for their important project, "Just Imagine"!
I'll be taking a sketchbook, a pencil case and some oil pastels out with me to a green space in London. I normally create my artwork in the comfort of my own dining room surrounded by my plethora of art supplies so to be going out on the streets with a limited range of materials will be quite the challenge! I've always been a fan of theatre and I love that The Yellow Box Theatre not only produces good quality work but isn't afraid to discuss and highlight important issues in our society.
Any money raised from this challenge will fund the project "Just Imagine" which discusses issues of violence against women and girls in a new and creative way and aims to educate and raise awareness of this important topic.
I'm excited to announce that on the 24th of august, I’ll be undertaking an 8-hour charity bike ride on my turbo trainer (8 Hours of Turbo!) to raise money for The Yellow Box Theatre and their inspiring project, "Just Imagine"! This project aims to challenge beliefs about violence against women and girls through theatre, advocacy, and community action.
I’ll be pushing my physical and mental limits, riding for a full 8 hours to support this incredible cause. Every pedal stroke will bring us closer to raising awareness of this societal issue and make a real difference in bringing this project to life.
My goal is to raise £500!
Please consider donating and cheering me on as I embark on this challenging ride for this amazing project and great team!
Thank you for your support!
Support us - Make a donation.
If you are able to, please support us by making a donation; we would be most grateful.
These turbulent economic times have brought significant challenges to the arts industry, including our organisation. Your support is invaluable in sustaining the arts and allowing culture to remain a reflection of who we are as a society and who we aspire to be.
The money raised will contribute solely to supporting this project, including the release of the documentary, the further development of the play, and its community initiatives.
Thank you for your support.
