Whoa! We did it! I am so tremendously grateful! And now I want to tell you what's happening next...

Canvases are expensive. In fact, those huge 5' x 4' canvases I have? They cost nearly £50 each to buy. OUCHTOWN.

All the extra funding above THE BIG EASEL purchase, I'm putting that cash into canvases. Big ones. I'm gonna give that new easel a workout and it's gonna be AMAZING.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart and the deepest, weirdest, artist-iest part of my brain. I couldn't have done this without you.

Namaste. xxx

Project aim

I make BIG art on BIG canvases and the easels I have are not always able to hold my work. Please help me get the right tool for my job.

About the project

I once painted a 5 foot wide by 4 foot tall canvas: the biggest thing I'd ever painted (that wasn't a mural) and IT WAS GLORIOUS. I have another huge canvas desperate to be painted but have no way to support it.

The old method consisted of rigging two easels together (A-frame types) and adjusting them constantly. If I pushed a brush too hard in one place, the easel on that side would wobble and misalign. Repeat this problem over and over and you understand why I continue to have large unpainted canvasses.

Help me raise £700 to cover the cost of a Mabef M/02 Easel. It's sturdy, will last me a lifetime, and help me do my job better than ever.

I know many of you love what I do but can't purchase a painting.

A gift of support is the next best thing to buying work by an artist you love. It shows your appreciation and helps them continue their dedicated work. A few pounds that may have gone to a coffee shop will help me reach my goal.

Thank you so much for your support.

Let’s do this! xxx
