Terms & Conditions

Eligibility 

1. Entrants must be UK residents and over 18 years of age 

2. Entries will be accepted between Thursday 7th November at 10.00am GMT and Wednesday 11th December at 12.00pm GMT. Entries received after this date will not be eligible for the draw. 

3. Entrants may enter as many times as they like.

How to enter 

4. No purchase is necessary to enter this Prize Draw. Entrants may enter the Prize Draw through either of the following entry routes:

(a) Paid Entry Route - Entrants must visit www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/the-big-2024-christmas-draw and select the number of entries shown and pay the corresponding entry fee.   

To enter via the Paid Entry Route, entrants must agree to Crowdfunder’s terms of use available at: www.crowdfunder.co.uk/terms-conditions 

(b) Free Entry Route - Entrants must send their full name, telephone number and a valid contact email address to Start Up Stirling at the following address: Fundraising Team, Start Up Stirling, 16B Whitehouse Rd, Stirling, FK7 7SP. Postal entries should be sent by 'signed for' post. If the correct and sufficient postage has not been paid then the entry will be invalid and will not be considered. Personal and hand deliveries will not be accepted. Entries sent by post must be received by the closing date for receipt of entries.

6. Winning entries will be drawn at random from the valid entries received by Start Up Stirling prior to the Closing Date. All Winners will be notified by email or telephone by 16th December 2024 using the contact details provided when entering the Prize Draw.

7. The closing date is 12pm on the 11th December, the draw will take place at 12.30pm on this day. 

8. Winners will be chosen at random and contacted via email/telephone on how to claim their prize. If the winner does not respond by 5pm on the 18th December, the next winner will be chosen at random.

9. If a Winner rejects a prize, or their entry is invalid or in breach, or they are unable to claim a prize for any other reason, that winner's prize will be forfeited. Start Up Stirling shall be entitled to select another winner in accordance with these terms.

10. Any 'experience prizes' shall be booked directly by the winner to the prize giver, and not via Start Up Stirling. Winners must make their own way to any 'experience prizes'.

11. Start Up Stirling's decisions in relation to the administration of this prize draw, the selection of winners and the allocation of the prizes shall be final. 

12. Refunds - Once made, any payments made in connection with an entry made via the Paid Entry Route will be non-refundable unless Start Up Stirling cancels this Prize draw for reasons out with its reasonable control.  

13. The winners names shall be published on the Crowdfunder prize draw page.  If an entrant objects to this, please contact [email protected] before the closing date. In such circumstances, Start Up Stirling must still provide the information and winning entry to Crowdfunder on request.

14. By entering this draw, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data by the Promoter only for the purposes of the administration of this draw and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. We will process your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy.

15. The Promoter will keep entrants' personal details for a reasonable time so that it can send any prize that an entrant has won, to verify that these rules have been complied with, and for accounting purposes. 

16. The Promoter may disqualify any entrant whose entry does not comply with these terms and conditions (in Promoter’s sole opinion) or who, in Promoter’s sole determination, has acted in a manner that is fraudulent, dishonest or unjust to other entrants including, without limitation, tampering with the operation of the prize draw, manipulating or rigging votes, hacking, deceiving, cheating or by harassing or threatening other entrants or a representative of Promoter.
