Bexhill Senior Citizens Club is a volunteer-run charity providing a safe, comfortable, warm space for the senior citizens living in Bexhill-on-Sea and surrounding areas to meet and socialise. There are so many elderly people living with loneliness and isolation. a situation which was exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic and resulting lockdown periods, with some losing a life partner during this time. We offer a range of active sessions from table tennis, keep fit and dancing to the more relaxed knit & natter, Mexican train dominoes, card games, etc. We have a free-to-use library, a pool room and a gym as well as a tea/coffee lounge where members can just sit and chat.
As a non-profit we need to raise funds for extra-ordinary items such as maintenance, equipment replacement and increased day-to-day running expenses.
