The Berkeley Square Ball was one of London's foremost events which used to raise significant funds for charity via both donations and fund raising activities at the Ball, which took place in Berkeley Square once a year!
2014 is the 50th anniversary of the ball and it is our intention to bring the ball back to London and to use it to raise funds for worthwhile causes which will be determined through a selection process aimed at charities linked to the safeguarding of children and environmental charities sectors, investing for our future.
A group of like minded individuals with over 60 years of experience in the events, entertainment and fundraising idndustries have got together and are devoting their time, free of charge to making this dream a reality.
The ball itself is usually attended by 600- 800 people paying a ticket price in the region of £600 - £650 per person to attend the event. Celebrities attend in their abundance for this ball which is highly themed and consists of entertainment throughout the evening, with 2 guest spots from high profile artists.
A guest celebrity chef will head up the kitchen brigade who will serve the guests a sumptous 3 course dinner.
Following the event there is an after party where guests can party until 2am!
Fundraising activities on the night will consist of an auction, silent auction, charity raffle and opportunities to make donations. The aim is to raise in excess of £100,000 in year one.
The money requested from the fundraiser initiative will go towards initial start up costs, promotional work, launch and the preparation of a sponsorship document to attract much needed sponsorship to the event.
