We're still collecting donations
On the 14th April 2021 we'd raised £3,410 with 12 supporters in 28 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We would love your support now that she's back in Port. We'd love to offer you a reward or two so we can sail through these waters blue.

Help keep the team who are still working on her and assist in her return.
The Life Aquatic
The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for millions of British small businesses, with the help of the Mayor of London's matchmaking scheme we are able to offer some boatiful rewards in exchange for your support which will be match funded up to £5k.
When the Ship Comes in
The Battersea Barge has been on pause since early 2018 as a result of a compulsory move and essential works being done on the Thames Tideway Tunnel project. Initially the move was just meant to be for 6 months but after 3 years and just as she was about to re-open this Summer, the pandemic hit. We are responsible for all of the fixed costs and maintaining the team that has been such a huge part of her during this time.
After a major refurbishment we are (almost) ready to open our gangway and to welcome you with open oars in Spring/ Summer 2021 to her home in the newly redeveloped area of Nine Elms, close to Battersea Park and the Power Station.
Hello Sailor!
The Barge is a converted 1930’s Dutch Barge now surrounded by modern developments, the Battersea Power Station, the American Embassy and our lovely neighbourhood riverboat community. Permanently moored in the heart of Nine Elms, the Barge boasts great views of the Power Station and east towards the City, it offers a great setting for any occasion including weddings, theatre, live music & parties. We look forward to welcoming you aboard soon and for her once again becoming your favourite neighbourhood bar.
O Captain! My Captain!
Whilst she's been away, we've embarked on a challenging renovation project. Offering lots of light and air and creating generous indoor and outdoor decks we have retained much of her original charm while bringing out her best features and holding onto her rugged good looks and industrial charm. We will effectively be starting a new business during a pandemic and your kind support will go a long way in ensuring her success.
The Mariner's Tale
The Barge is Tamesis' sister vessel. The story goes that they are both 1930's Dutch Barges that got requisitioned by Hitler during the war and remained in Paris. From here they moved to the British Isles together and finally were moored almost next to each other in London during the 90's. They separated for some years when they were sold off separately, but we're proud that they're now back together again.
We're very much looking forward to welcoming you aboard and hope that you will be tempted by the rewards.
Thank you for your support!
N.B. you will be able to claim your rewards as soon as she re-opens. In case your reward cannot be used due to Covid restrictions, the date will be extended or a bar tab offered if preferred.
We ask project owners to honour their rewards wherever possible but please note that all pledges are donations and there is no guarantee that you will receive any rewards from the project owner. Please see our Terms of Use for more information regarding rewards for pledges.
