About Me, My Team, and My Vision

I’m Lyle, an aspiring filmmaker who transitioned from an 8-year career in engineering to follow my passion for storytelling. This journey has been both challenging and rewarding, as I step into the world of film, armed with a fresh perspective and an unwavering commitment to my craft.

For this project, I’m working with a small, dedicated team of creatives who share my passion for pushing boundaries and making meaningful, thought-provoking films. Together, we’re bringing to life a truly personal story inspired by my own grieving process after losing a family member.

The film dives into themes of memory, trauma, and mental health, personified as a sci-fi thriller. It’s a deeply emotional piece that aims to resonate with audiences on a personal level.

How Your Support Will Help

The funds raised will go directly towards covering the costs of essential props and securing a suitable location for the shoot. Your contributions will ensure we can create a visually stunning, emotionally powerful film that represents the complex emotions tied to grief and mental health.

Thank you for being part of this journey and helping bring this vision to life.

Synopsis

A chilling sci-fi horror about memory, trauma, and the fragility of the mind.

Set in a dystopian future, an isolated white room filled with antique computers becomes the setting for a mysterious man who spends his days sorting files into two folders: GOOD and BAD. Each file holds a memory, but he never questions his work—until a mistake places a bad memory in the wrong folder. A virus spreads through the system, warping the screens, distorting reality, and infecting the man himself. As his surroundings glitch and collapse, he realizes with horror that he isn't the one organizing these memories—he is the memory.

This chilling sci-fi horror explores the fragility of the mind, grief, trauma, and mental health. The protagonist symbolizes the brain, tirelessly sorting memories in a stark, isolated world. The result is an 8-minute cinematic experience that’s visually captivating and deeply emotional.
