May’s County Election is a massive opportunity for Greens in Tewkesbury.
We can win...
The brilliant Cate Cody has proved we can win - she made a breakthrough in 2019 as the first Green Borough Councillor and followed that by also being a County Councillor for the past four years. In 2023 four Green Borough Councillors were elected , with Matt Dimond-Brown and Hilarie Bowman also now running in May 2025 - 
both with excellent track records at Borough and Parish. We will have Green candidates standing in all eight Tewkesbury County Divisions so everyone can have a Green vote.
But we face determined and well-funded opposition; if we don’t step up, we risk losing ground.
How you can help...
We need a minimum of £3,000 for campaign materials and we will be getting as many hands on deck as possible—delivering leaflets, knocking on doors, putting up posters or simply spreading the word.
Printed campaign literature is easily the best way of getting our message across. We will delivering leaflets to thousands of people and we are reliant on amazing people like you giving as much as you can. Your hard-working, independent-minded Councillors, working every day for the people of Tewkesbury, need your support. So that they can campaign for our environment, our communities, and fairness for all.
The May election also presents us with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to elect Councillors who can reshape local government in a greener way in the transition to a Unitary Authority. The County Council has a very good chance of having significantly more Greens this time throughout the County and Tewkesbury needs to play its part.
