Tewhynn – The Spirit of Cornish Water

Aim: Tewhynn is Cornwall’s first premium botanical water brand combining locally sourced Cornish spring water with wild and cultivated herbs.

I’m Dr Abdul Kamara, a dentist based in Cornwall who swapped the fast-paced life of Hackney and London for the natural rhythm and rich traditions of the South West. With a background in biomedical science and neuroscience, my passion for well-being, oral health and clean living inspired Tewhynn — a premium range of botanical waters, infusions, and effervescent tablets rooted in Cornish ingredients and heritage.

Tewhynn is built on a simple yet powerful idea: to celebrate Cornwall’s wild bounty through functional, mouth-friendly drinks that are beautiful, ethical, and nourishing. We’ve been working with local herbalists, growers, creatives and advisors to craft our first collection of six blends — including calming still waters, sparkling energisers, and natural infusion concentrates.

With the money we raise, we’ll cover key startup costs:

• Product development and testing
• Compliance and safety certifications
• Ingredient sourcing and bottling
• Website and QR content
• Samples and launch packs for stockists

Tewhynn will proudly carry Cornwall into premium markets — from health spaces and boutique hotels to high-end hospitality and global travel. This crowdfunder helps us take our first real step. We’re building a community-first, sustainable brand — and we’d love for you to be part of it.
