Tees Valley YMCA has been working with young people aged 16-25 for 30 years. We provide individual accommodation for homeless young people and those who have experienced the care system. Our residents are typically in the 16-19 age range. Our offer to young people is accommodation which is safe and secure, we support to develop independent living skills, enable young people to live semi independently with us and then hold a tenancy in their own right when they are ready.
We have the opportunity to turn some of our office space into another 4 flats to meet increasing need within Darlington and are trying to raise funds to enable us to do this.
