Aim: To raise enough funds that are required, so we can start the process of applying to the Charity Commission to become a Registered Charity.
This is a hard read, but its even harder being a child suffering sexual abuse. Not knowing who can help. Feeling trapped and not being able to escape from their abuser especially if the abuser is a family member or indeed a close family friend.
TEDDY Help and Advice Group UK Ltd by guarantee ( non-profit) was established on the 24th May 2024 by siblings Mark Doye & Gay Melrose.

Mark and Gay both choose to waiver their right to anonymity, to bring awareness and encourage a shift in attitudes to victims of child sexual abuse.

Teddy Help and Advice Group UK Ltd by guarantee aim to become a Registered Charity once funding allows.
£5000 is needed on our business bank account so we can start our application to register as a Charity with Charity Commission.
We also need funds to purchase more IT equipment & additional phone lines. So our volunteers can get to work and start to save and help survivors of child sexual abuse.
All our volunteers & trustees will be enhanced DBS checked and will receive safe guarding training, which is taking its toll on our very limited finances since we were founded nearly 6 weeks ago.
