Team Gatwick - Dragon Boat Race

Aim: To raise money for the DofE to help young people strive for achievement, overcome obstacles, and set their minds to a personal challenge!
On Friday 20 June 2025 we'll be racing our very own boat in the Duke of Edinburgh Award (DofE) Dragon Boat race, in support of this BA Better World Community Fund partner charity.
The DofE sees young people given the chance to prove to themselves what they’re capable of, with no limits to what they can achieve. Ready to celebrate and champion every young person, the DofE provides a safe environment of support and challenge.
Whatever their ability, interest or background, DofE offers young people the chance to strive for achievement, overcome obstacles, and set their minds to a personal challenge. Because when you prove to yourself that you’re ready for anything, nothing can hold you back. Our Founder HRH Prince Philip once said: “There is more in you than you might think.” And, here at the DofE, we help you realise that.
