Aim: We’re working on something we’ve dreamed about for years… releasing our first EP and expanding the work we do with young worship leaders!

Who we are:

My name is Lucy and I’m one of the founders of Taylor & Co Worship. As children of worship leaders, growing up in a musical family gave us space to explore our faith, develop our musical gifts, and grow a heart for worship from an early age. With access to the right guidance and resources, we formed a band and launched a youth worship night for the young people in our area. We visited youth festivals where we were encouraged, equipped, and inspired — discovering what worship truly meant to us and sparking a lifelong passion for serving God through music.

Eventually, we were invited to serve alongside experienced worship leaders who, over time, stepped aside to give us space to lead ourselves. These moments were defining — and through them, we felt God speak clearly to us about creating a collective that could offer the same experiences and opportunities to others.

Taylor & Co Worship is a collective of musicians who love God, love to worship, and are inspired by young people and their hearts for worship. Over the past eight years, we’ve led worship at major youth festivals including New Wine, Limitless, Spring Harvest, and Cliff Festival. These gatherings have fuelled our passion to raise up and equip young people into meaningful roles in worship. This is the beginning of TYC, our Taylor & Co Youth Collaboration.

What we do:

What we strive for is participation over performance. We don’t just perform to young people — we invite them into worship. Through workshops and mentoring, we spend time building relationships, teaching what worship is, what it means, how to do it, what the Bible says, how to write songs, and sharing our own testimonies of God’s faithfulness. We’re passionate about helping young people write their own songs — and writing alongside them — so their voices are reflected in the worship sung across their churches.

Looking ahead, we want to cultivate a platform where young people who show passion and promise are welcomed into the heart of what we do. A space that offers them even more opportunities than we were given — not just to take part, but to lead, grow, and shape the future of worship. Our vision is to eventually build a wider network that equips young worshippers to serve confidently and creatively in their local churches, and to be taken seriously as leaders and songwriters of this generation.

We’ve also begun recording and releasing our own music. I wrote my first song at eight years old, but didn’t share one publicly until 2023 — more than two decades later. Psalm 96 urges us to “Sing to the Lord a new song,” yet so many songs remain unheard. Hoping to lead by example, we released Breakthrough last year — a deeply personal prayer — and were overwhelmed by how many people connected with it. The response was more than we ever imagined, and the song has since gone on to bless listeners around the world.

Everything we’ve done with Taylor & Co Worship so far has been funded entirely from our own savings. We’ve never done this for money, but many people have asked how they can support what we’re building. With Spotify paying around £0.0003 per stream, and a large portion of our worship leading done voluntarily, we need financial support to keep this mission going.

What we're raising money for:

With your donations, we plan to release our EP this summer, collaborate with other artists, and expand both our collective and the wider network — so we can continue investing in young people and sharing the songs God has placed on our hearts.

After completing this first stage, we ultimately want to:

  • Work alongside young people with our more experienced members, practising discipleship and connecting faith with musicianship.
  • Create workshops and seminar days which young people can attend to learn more about what worship is, how to song-write and release music, worship and identity, plus a load of other topics within the wider worship conversation.
  • Set up youth worship nights across the country for young people to not only attend, but also lead each other in worship alongside our Taylor & Co Worship members
  • Teach, write and release music with young people as collaborative projects to drive their confidence and bring their voices forward

We intend to donate 10% of the total raised to Alzheimer’s Society in honour of our beautiful mum who continues to live with this devastating condition. Her contribution to our worship lives has been unparalleled and we will be using this platform to further the treatment and awareness of early-onset dementia.

So whether you’re a donor, record label, worship leader, or simply someone who shares our passion for the next generation — we’d love to hear from you. We're not trying to build a brand. We're building a base — so others can rise from it.
