Aim: Raising monies to secure transport for my 2yr old, to get to leukemia treatments over the next two years.
First started on go-fund-me, we successfully raised enough to complete my driving lessons, but need to secure a suitable transport for Tanwen, my 2yr old, who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the end of May '25.
Living in a rural location, with poor transport links, we are reliant on a one-hourly bus service, and more recently the kindness of local community members, and friends, to transport us to Telford and Birmingham childrens' hospitals.
A car would allow us to respond to treatment needs more quickly, as my other children could come along, or be transported to a safe place, while Tanwen is taken to treatments, both unexpected and expected.
Tanwen's prognosis is very good, being at optimum age for successful treatments, and although the future looks good for Tanwen, 2 years of treatment is a long road to travel without a vehicle.
Any help is deeply appreciated, with any extra monies being donated directly to Telford children's cancer unit.
All our love 💜
