Crowdfunding ‘Talking Drugs’ Programme
The children’s charity Blameless, in conjunction with Hamilton Accies Community Trust, have led our highly informative and educational ‘Talking Drugs’ schools programme in schools and businesses across the country over the last five years.
Drug and alcohol addiction is a significant issue that has affected millions of people worldwide. It is one of the leading causes of health and social problems globally. Addiction can be a debilitating illness that not only affects the individual struggling with substance abuse but also their families and communities.
Our non-profit organisation has worked tirelessly over the years, self-funding our ‘Talking Drugs’ programme to combat drug and alcohol addiction by providing real-life stories of substance abuse to individuals, in particular teenagers, in the hope that our talks truly deter people from ever turning to drugs or drink.
However, we also provide individuals struggling with addiction hope and the necessary tools to achieve a meaningful recovery.
To continue delivering such vital informative talks and support, we need your help.
We believe that education, intervention and prevention can have a hugely positive effect on the epidemic of drugs and alcohol, but that it requires a collective effort from all members of society.
Please, donate to our cause to enable us to continue to educate people across Scotland of the dangers of addiction and enable us to visit even more schools to deliver our message of Hope.
