Tahira Animal Welfare Foundation (TAWF) is a small charity providing lifesaving rescue, medical care, and shelter to abused, injured, and homeless animals in Pakistan. Based in Faisalabad, we are the only animal rescue and shelter service in the region. Our work includes emergency rescues, sterilization and vaccination through TNVR, equine welfare outreach, and humane education in schools. Our operations are entirely funded by kind donations from individuals who believe every animal deserves compassion, protection, and a second chance at life.

TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) Program: Implementing humane population control measures to stop overpopulation and prevent the cycle of suffering.
Humane Education & Awareness: Teaching communities about animal welfare to foster a culture of kindness and empathy.
Equine Welfare: Providing veterinary care and owner education to improve the lives of working donkeys, horses, and mules.
Sanctuary of Hope: Constructing a permanent, state-of-the-art sanctuary to provide lifelong care to rescued animals.
