August Bank Holiday TDB pet supplies shop window was demolished by vandals, followed by the front door 9days later.

For Scott, the owner of TDB pet supplies, Stanley Common, 2024 has been very unkind. From malicious rumours circulating around the village caused a huge drop in takings for the first quarter. He lost his brother in June. His mum was diagnosed with alzheimer's in August and now he has the added stress of local vandals attacking the shop on 2 separate occasions.

Scott is the kindest soul of the planet. Loves working for himself and making a difference to his customers' pets lives.

He started out in a converted food wagon selling his own brand of home made treats at local fairs and dog shows, he was the only person in the UK to do such a thing at the time, for which he got recognition from Downing Street! He later progressed to a converted barn on the grounds of markeaton Park. Where he and his former partner ran a very successful dog grooming studio, as well as selling his treats and other animal feeds.

After his relationship ended he was an absolute mess, but he pulled through it all better and with more determination than ever. By this time he had moved premises to Stanley Common where, after a lot of hard work, tears and sweat, he was back on form. He wasn't given a very warm welcome to the village due to the shop always being a butchers. But once they got used to it they soon warmed up to him. And is now a valued and loved member of the area.

Scott has never taken a wage from the shop, and the shop doesn't make a whole lot of money either. So, all I ask is, if all you wonderful people out there who have read this far could please help me raise enough money to get the glass replaced in the window and door and to restore Scott's faith in human nature, he would be so very grateful.

Thank you so much for reading
