Switch On Our Christmas Lights & Farm Shop Voucher

Terms & Conditions

1. You must be over 18 to enter. However, we are happy for someone under 18 to switch on the lights should you wish to enter on their behalf, they will just need to be accompanied by an adult. 

2. To enter the draw, please make a donation by purchasing an entry for £5 via this Crowdfunder Prize Draw. You may purchase as many entries as you like to give yourself more chance of being selected for the prize. You can purchase 5 entries at the discounted rate of £20. Alternatively you can enter without making a donation by posting your entry to:

Simply write, 'Christmas Lights Prize Draw' along with your name and contact details. Postal entries must be received by Friday 6th December to be included in the draw. 

3. Alder Trust is the promoter of this prize draw. 

4. This prize draw opens at 3:00pm on Wednesday 20th November 2024 and ends Saturday 7th December 2024 at 3:00pm.

5. The prize is a voucher, to receive two hot hot drinks and two pieces of cake from Aldermoor Farm Shop, and to be the person that switches on Aldermoor Community Farm's Christmas lights. This will take place at 3:30pm on Saturday 7th December 2024 at Aldermoor Community Farm, Aldermoor Road, Southampton, SO16 5NN. The winner will be selected at random and announced between 3:00pm and 3:30pm at Aldermoor Community Farm on the day of the event. The winner must be present for the draw at the farm between 3pm and 3:30pm, and to switch on the lights at 3:30pm. If the selected winner is not present, the voucher will be kept at the farm shop for them to collect, but another entry will be selected to switch on the lights. 

6. Please do not enter this prize draw after 3:00pm on 7th December 2024 as you will not be entered but may still be charged. 

7. All personal data will only be held for the purpose of this draw and in line with our privacy policy. Contact details will only be used to inform the winner if they are not present on the day.
