Bring Hackney's multicultural communities together through a poetry book that celebrates the languages spoken across the borough.

by PEER in London, England, United Kingdom

Thank you to all of our supporters to date – 5 days remaining!

At PEER we are absolutely honoured by the huge amount of support that we've received for this project so far! With the help of over 160 people from far and wide, we've raised an astonishing £8,500 and largely through £30 – £50 donations.

When we embarked on this crowdfunding campaign we had hoped to receive match-funding as part of Pay It Forward's Extra Funding schemes. However, we were recently informed that although PEER itself as an organisation may be a good candidate for future funding, this particular project was not considered eligible for either the Mayor of London's Back to Business funding or Power to Change Community Business Crowd-match.

We completely understand and respect this decision and it has only served to galvanise us into giving one last push over the final few days, with the aim of reaching our £15,000 goal regardless of match funding!

As this is a flexi-crowdfunding campaign, PEER will receive ALL pledges made by 11:56am on 6th April 2021, so every penny counts. Help us achieve our ambition of giving away 3,000 copies of this wonderful poetry book to Hackney Library users and pledge your support or share with your friends, family and networks now!

THANK YOU!
