Swjndon Children's Scrapstore is a charity and community resource centre set up to benefit the local community through the provision of collect clean, safe redundant materials from local businesses and people, these are made available at low cost to the local community, including: families, schools, colleges, nurseries, playgroups, childminders, community groups and non-profit organisations, (Turning Waste Things into Playthings). The Scrapstore is accessible to all members of the community and directly benefits over 50,000 people in Swindon each year through the projects and services it provides. The Scrapstore diverts on average 250 tonnes of redundant reusable materials from landfill sites back into reuse for the benefit of local people each year.

The Scrapstore provides low cost environmentally friendly resources for use in recreational and educational play activities.

The charity delivers several community projects Including: Scrapstore Resource Centre, Arts & Craft Shop, Community Repaint Scheme, Office Furniture Reuse Project, I.T Refurbishing Project, Scrappers Boxing Gym & Community Fitness Centre and food redistribution providing essential service to the community.
The Scrapstore is accessible to all members of the community, we directly benefit over 50,000 people in Swindon each year through the projects and services we provide.
