Swindon Bats Superhero Triathlon

Aim: Swindon Bats are taking part in the Superhero Triathalon Series to try and raise much needed funds for our Visually Impaired Charity.

What is superhero Tri? 

It’s a swim, cycle & push/run 🏊🚲👩‍🦽

Superhero Tri was founded back in 2016 by Paralympian Sophia Warner after she discovered a lack of sporting events for the Everyday Superhero. 

Everyone should have the chance to be active & experience the thrill of taking part in a large-scale sporting event, whether it’s joining the fun at a live event or uniting remotely with Superheroes far & wide.

We’ve got some exciting news - a few of our Swindon Bats members are taking part this year! They will be raising money for Swindon Bats. Please check out this just giving page to show your support.

Our Charities Secretary Sue Mead and her husband Peter Mead are hoping to take part in the Run while Bats member Russell Riggs is going all out to do the Triathalon Sprint which includes a lake swim, run and cycle! 

The money raised from the Superhero Tri, will be going towards helping Swindon Bats in their daily work providing regular accessible sport and social activities for the Visually Impaired in and around the Swindon area.
