Raise money to fund future election campaigns in Swale.

by Swale Green Party in Faversham, Kent, United Kingdom

The Green Party are DIFFERENT

Unlike other parties, we aren't funded by big business and vested interests. We are powered by people like you. This means that we are independent and free to stand up for what is right, not what private donors want us to say.

But it also means that we rely on the people who agree with our vision for the future to support us when they can. This means YOU!

Running an election campaign requires money. £500 is required just for the deposit to allow a candidate to stand. In addition, there are the costs of designing, printing and delivering leaflets and posters as well as the exciting activities we would like to run including events and community projects.

Every pound you can spare now will help us to reach more people with our vision of hope and change through leafletting, canvassing, social media adverts and events.

Every candidate and every vote COUNTS!

Our first local Green councillors, Tim Valentine & Alastair Gould, were elected for Boughton & Courtenay ward in the Swale Borough Council elections 2019. In 2023 Alastair Gould, Terry Thomson and Rich Lehmann all won seats on Swale Borough Council and many positive changes have been made in Swale since they were elected. Find out more here: https://swale.greenparty.org.uk/

Swale Green Party councillor Rich Lehmann is also doing a fantastic job, working with the other four Green Councillors to hold the Conservative-run Kent County Council to account for cuts to socially necessary bus services, children’s centres, the voluntary sector, public health services and much more.

Or four MPs are demonstrating what can be achieved by electing principled, hard-working Greens to Parliament. They are working with Jenny Jones and Natalie Bennett in the House of Lords to pressure our government to take bolder action on the climate and ecological emergencies, on the NHS, on electoral reform and much more. Having a Green voice in the room really can make a huge difference at local and national level.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATION, EVERY PENNY COUNTS!

P.S. Because we're a political party we're required to run electoral register checks from people making donations above £500, and if you donate over £1,500 during a year, we are required to let the Electoral Commission know, who will make this available on their website.
