Thank you for taking the time to visit my crowdfunding page, a very good friend of mine Paul has been riding and racing speedway and motocross bikes for over 20+ years.

I was out riding with Paul a few weeks back and he was having the best day back on the bike with fun and laughter filling the day and enjoying every minute.

This unfortunately took a very quick and shocking turn for the worse with Paul having a freak uncontrollable accident causing him to crash.

On impact, Paul was ejected from his bike sending him high and landing in the car park feet first, over 90ft away.

Paul’s injuries were extensive, with multiple injuries and having broken over 15 bones in various places with some needing surgery. It was safe to say we were all praying and keeping everything crossed that he could pull through this……

I am so pleased to say that after multiple surgeries and Paul being kept under sedation for almost 3 weeks, he has pulled through and is now getting better, albeit slowly.

I was able to visit Paul, and have a conversation with him for the first time in the hospital which was truly amazing!

Paul his Wife, friends and family have all been so strong and supportive helping in any way possible to keep him going and help pull him through this difficult time.

Now Paul is awake and getting better; his very long journey starts by getting back to health and back on his feet which is going to be very challenging, but knowing how strong he is I have every faith that he will do this as soon as physically possible.

My reason for reaching out to you all on this page is to try and help support Paul and his wife by taking away the financial worry and stress of the mortgage, and bills and also to help pay towards some of the specialist kit Paul will need throughout his recovery and any other modifications needed to the home to help make Paul as comfortable as possible, and give him the very best chance to fully recover.

I have already had so many kind messages and great support from so many people which has been amazing.

I thank you all in advance for your support.

Many thanks

Ashley.
