Terms & Conditions

General Terms

1.    This charity prize draw is organised by The Polish Saturday School in Manchester, c/o 194-196 Lloyd Street North, Manchester, M14 4QB, with 100% of the profits being utilized to support activities delivered by the School.

2.    The Polish Saturday School in Manchester is registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, charity number: 1160848

How to enter

3.    Entries received after the competition closing date of 31st March 2023 will not be accepted.

4.    The prize draw has a free-to-enter option by postal entry. To enter by post please send your details (full name, phone number and email address) to PSSM, c/o 10 Greenstone Drive, Salford, M6 6RJ.

5.    The Polish Saturday School in Manchester accepts NO responsibility for entries that are mislaid, damaged, delayed or lost in transit for any reason, including any postal system failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction or computer, software, or network errors.

6.    The Polish Saturday School in Manchester reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.

Eligibility

7.    Our prize draw is open to everyone, including employees and volunteers of the School, their families and any agents or third-party associates.

8.    Anyone under the age of 18 entering the prize draw must only do so with permission from their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) 

9.    There is no maximum limit on the number of entries per person.

10.    By entering, you are confirming you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize if you are successful in winning.

11.    The Polish Saturday School in Manchester reserves the right to disqualify anyone whose conduct is in breach of the spirit of the competition.

The draw

12.    Winners will be chosen at random within 2 weeks of the prize draw ending.

13.    The winner will be notified by email or telephone (using details provided at entry) within 5 working days of being chosen and must provide a postal address to claim their prize. 

14.    The winner will have 5 working days to claim their prize by responding via phone or email. If no response is received, the prize will be forfeited, and The Polish Saturday School in Manchester will have the right to redraw a new winner following the process outlined above.

15.    The details of collection, delivery or postage of the prize will be arranged individually with each winner. Winners from outside Greater Manchester area may need to pay the postage cost.

16.    The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and there is no cash alternative on offer. The Polish Saturday School in Manchester reserves the right to exchange the prize for something of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond their control make it necessary to do so.

17.    Any decisions made by The Polish Saturday School in Manchester on any matters relating to the prize draw or competition are final.

18.    The winner's name and County (if UK) or Country (if overseas) can be obtained by written request by sending a stamped addressed envelope to The Polish Saturday School in Manchester, c/o 10 Greenstone Drive, Salford, M6 6RJ within 60 days of the prize draw closing. 

19.    The Polish Saturday School in Manchester reserves the right to hold, void, suspend, cancel or amend the prize draw, if and where it becomes necessary to do so.

Limitations of liability

20.    As such is permitted by law, The Polish Saturday school in Manchester will not, in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept and liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by negligence of The Polish Saturday School in Manchester. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Data Protection and Publicity

21.    The Polish Saturday School in Manchester is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and will only use your personal information in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

22.    By entering the prize draw, you agree that any personal information provided by you with your entry may be held and used by The Polish Saturday School in Manchester or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition.

Governing Law

23.    All Prize Draws and competitions will be governed by English law and entrants to the draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

24.    The Polish Saturday School in Manchester reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time and any updated version will be effective as soon as it is published on the website.
