With such a big Irish community in the south of Wales and with South Wales having 3 gaelic football teams but no hurling teams it was clear that there is scope for a team to be created. There are competitions and leagues in England that we could compete in, we just need a helping hand to start. As this is a completely new sports club we need all the help and support we can get. Your donation will be used to get all equipment needed to get started and provide a good start for all the new players on the club get the best equipment to use. Specifically the money raised will pay for 20x helmets, 20 x mixed size hurleys, 4 x bag of 12 sliotars and 20 x mixed size basic training t-shirts. This will allow us to train, play and start to build our team and community. To everyone who donates thank you very much this will help massively.
