• We are a team of 28 volunteers who provide activity to the community and also help other clubs in Telford to provide sport. Due to the pandemic, all our after school clubs have been closed this year. This is the way we support our full-time centre and provide free sessions for those who would otherwise not be able to addend sport due to financial constraints. We are the first club in Telford to be awarded Clubmark Sport England, have performed for The Queen and trained over 50 British and 2 world champions. We provide free scholarships through our coaches education programs and provide roll on roll off work experience for the job centre, who even sent a good news story to Parliament to express all the good work we do with regards to helping people in to employment. We work with juniors with disabilities, BMAE groups, veterans, those on low income, people with PTSD, mental and physical health issues. 50% of our coaches/students are female, in a male predominantly orientated sport and many of our coaches/students have a disability  We now need to invest in marketing and an online/operations manager to encourage people to attend our covid-safe facility and adapt our club to offer online services, outdoor sessions and training in a different way. With the rise in depression, stress, anxiety and suicide rates increase, it is imperative that we continue to offer our support to the community and would now like to develop a mentoring and counselling service, plus open a well being centre. Our team is dedicated to our members, so will do our very best to fund raise and make sure we can still support their physical and mental health during these unprecedented times.
