VOLLEYBALL IN SCOTLAND
Volleyball in Scotland is experiencing an exciting period of growth with both Men's and Women's teams competing internationally. These programmes are providing a much needed performance pathway to help athletes achieve their goals as well as inspire younger generations along the way.
Unfortunately for us, the cost of competing at international events for a team of 12-14 players and coaching staff is on the rise. That is why we are asking for your help.
SUPPORT THE SCOTLAND MEN'S INDOOR VOLLEYBALL TEAM
The team is currently preparing to compete at the SCA European Championships in the Faroe Islands in October. To help get the team there, we are looking for donations from family, friends, businesses and any supporters of Scottish Volleyball.
As part of the fundraising effort, the squad (including coaching staff) have challenged themselves to row the equivalent 700km distance between Glasgow and host city, Tórshavn. With a 22 man squad that is approximately 31.8km on an indoor rowing machine! We will keep you updated.
