When I was teaching the best part was telling the children about the history of their town and visiting the museum. They still remember it 20 or 30 years later!

Reading Museum does great work in the community. Helps us learn about our past and therefore helps us understand our future! Please help support it.

I have used these resources with KS2 children and they bring history to life for them. They remember and relate to what they experience in person. Reading has such a lot of Victorian history, the children can see it around them and become proud of their town.

Claire Herriott 19th December 2020

The museum is such an important presence in Reading and it is important that the Museum and it's resources are available to the school children of the town.

Zoe Shepherd 18th December 2020

The Reading Museum is such an important part of the town and preserving our history. School outreach is likewise a thing I am proud to support. I have fond memories of the museum and of the boxes of artifacts that you provide.

Fiona Hope 16th December 2020

I particularly like the way in which Reading's history is presented at the museum, accessible for all ages, as well as the Bayeux Tapestry and Art Gallery/exhibits.
