Aim: Support Naomi Stokes Legal Defence Fund Target £18000
Help Naomi Stokes, a devoted wife, mother and supporter of a local family small business, navigate an unexpected legal challenge.
- In June 2024, Naomi attended a local community event and shared a lighthearted Facebook post about her experience. Despite promptly removing the post, the situation escalated when the local families business received a large, unfulfilled order, prompting further online discussion.
Naomi now faces legal claim brought by Michele Doran and Lurgan & District Horse & Cattle Show Society Ltd, who issued a Civil Bill seeking £10,000 in damages, an injunction, removal of a subsequent Facebook post from 7th June 2024, and costs and outlay. The case is set for a further review hearing on 26th June 2025, at Armagh Courthouse, placing significant financial and emotional strain on Naomi and her family. Your generous contributions will help cover legal fees to ensure Naomi can access fair representation and defend herself in court.
